During 2011 Dunstable Artisans changed name!
We are now known as the Merrimack Valley Artisans to reflect our regional membership.
You will find our current information at MerrimackValleyArtisans.org

The Merrimack Valley Artisans founded in 1989 as Dunstable Artisans in Dunstable, MA, with just 5 members.  Our first show was held in the homes of the different artisans.  As the group grew in number and in success, use of the Tyngsboro Historical Society's "Little Red Schoolhouse" was added.  In 2001, the group decided it needed to be in a single, larger location and moved to the Swallow Union School in Dunstable Center.  2005 saw the Artisans make a very successful move to the North Middle School gym in Groton, becoming part of Groton's larger community and its awareness of the arts, and broadening their name recognition and customer base in the larger outlying towns.

In 2011 the group is looking forward to a move to a new venue for our annual show at the Chelmsford Elks, Chelmsford, MA, and working on creating name recognition under our new name: the Merrimack Valley Artisans

Our annual show of art and fine crafts has always been a very special event in the community, and is eagerly anticipated each year.  It is a very unique opportunity to view high-quality art, locally produced, among one’s neighbors.  A special bond and loyal support between the artisans and their customers has developed over the years.
